Constance touchpad is different from traditional capacitive touchpads, it is specified design for ruggedized mobile computers or industrial HMI to have better ESD protection, to not be affected by liquids even solvents, to work when operator put on gloves in harsh or clean room environment. Often a resistive touchpad is considered not as sensitive as a consumer notebook touchpad. And yet, among the same technology for the same application, Constance touchpad provides the best performance, and with our continuous development now the product version3.0 has similar touch feeling as consumer end devices without the same downside of easily inadvertent triggering.
